Botox
Covering all areas of the face, the Botulinum Toxin section of the website showcases a variety of treatments that address focus indications, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced injection techniques. As well as this, the basics of reconstitution are explained, detailing Dr Tapan’s personal preferences when injecting. This section is split into facial areas and includes combination treatments with dermal filler.

Dermal Filler
The dermal filler section of eMASTR features a variety of videos using the Juvederm Vycross range for a range of enhancements and augmentations. Included in this section is an instructional video on reconstituting Hyalase, as well as a selection of longer series on full-face treatments, covering beautification, sagging, and rejuvenation. The range of patients treated is diverse and reflects a variety of indications, as well as including preferences and budget restrictions.

Practice Matters
This section covers online aesthetic training in injection basics, consultation techniques, and patient explainer videos. The consultation techniques series highlights red flags to look out for when consulting patients, as well as demonstrating good practice in dealing with these, compared to examples of poor practice. The patient explainer series provides an insightful resource for your patients to watch, with topics like facial ageing and treatment options.

Complications
While complications can be rare, it is important to be prepared to deal with them. The complications section of eMASTR covers the identification and management of vascular occlusion as well as the preparation and use of Hyalase to ‘remove’ hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers.

Masterclass
The online aesthetic training masterclass on eMASTR was created to bring together exemplary professionals to discuss their methods for different treatments. This currently includes a lip masterclass wherein Dr Tapan is joined by Dr Tom van Eijk and Dr Tijion Esho to address 9 commonly asked questions regarding the perioral area, including the classic needle vs cannula debate and ethnic considerations in the Expert Q&A, followed by the treatment of 6 patients, all with varying needs and indications. It also includes a lower face aesthetics masterclass with Dr Tapan and consultant oral maxillofacial surgeon Dr John Blythe, in which the doctors discuss methods of augmenting the lower face with consideration of surgical perspectives.

Anatomy
With a selection of narrated anatomy animations and a cadaver dissection series, the anatomy section of the website covers the basics of injecting the face and ‘no go’ areas. The in-depth videos break the face down into different areas, with detailed explanations of relevant anatomy that may affect how you treat indications.

As well as having access to this wealth of content, which is regularly updated with new video series, subscribers also benefit from exclusive discounts on PHI College training days. There is an eMASTR community forum on Facebook for subscribers, which provides a direct point of contact with Dr Tapan, as well as connecting you with other practitioners. eMASTR costs £995 + VAT for an annual subscription, a price that drops from your second year onwards to £595 + VAT. This annual contract can be split into quarterly payments, with 4 payments of £275 + VAT in the first year, falling to £175 + VAT from your second year.
